SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk will oversee all aspects of both shipping and receiving functions. Shift schedule Mon-Fri 11:00am-7:30pm.

• Responding promptly and professionally to company needs.
• Reading, legible writing, and basic math skills.
• Ability to complete basic checklists, forms or other related documents.
• Able to interact positively with coworkers in a production environment.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.
• Basic proficiency in operating a computer.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or GED required.

PREFERRED:
• Valid state issued driver’s license.
• Relevant work experience

SUMMARY:
California Cascade Building Materials, Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated, ambitious and reliable individual to provide our customers with outstanding customer service and administrative support to our sales team.


KEY RESPONSIBLITIES AND FUNCTIONS:

• Enter orders for Lowe’s, Home Depot and independent stores
• Answer incoming customer sales calls and emails
• Provide administrative support to sales staff
• Assist customers with pricing and availability information on products
• Enter all credit memos and policy credits
• Run Lowe’s past due viewer
• Handle sales inquiries from Lowe’s, Home Depot, ProBuild and other home centers.
• Implement price changes for Lowe’s and Home Depot
• Answer or forward vendor compliance e-mails
• Maintain store lists for Lowe’s and Home Depot
• Maintain price sheets for CCBM I inside sales
• Retrieve Random Lengths report from e-mail, forward to the appropriate people and update the report in Excel and distribute to salesman
• Maintain price sheets for Lowe’s, Home Depot and HD Supply
• Corresponds with home centers corporate offices
• Maintains Lowe’s item information in 1Sync
• Maintains Home Depot’s item information in HDL
• Oversee company website and social media • Assists with purchasing material for treating plants and remanufacturing. Research new products for customer needs
• Assist sales staff with customer events and advertising
• Create and manage customer presentations

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of building materials industry desirable
• Exceptional oral, written and telephone skills
• Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and follow through
• Proficient with MS Excel and Word
